Preview of The Wembley's Winter Wonderland Christmas Buffet
Upon our arrival at The Wembley, we saw that the hotel was all geared up to usher in Christmas. At its high-ceiling lobby, there was a tall Christmas tree and a statue of Olaf, the beloved cartoon character from the movie
Frozen. We were delighted to see it, so we took a wefie there.

Chef Owen Oh, the sous chef of Wembley Café, prepares to carve the roast turkey. (7 December 2017)

The food review was carried out at Wembley Café, the main dining outlet of the hotel. When we arrived, the chefs were still bringing out the dishes and putting the finishing touches to the deco. What a lot of food! It was all lined up in various food aisles and stations.
As you make your day down the aisle, you come across seafood on ice, deepfried items, various sushis, soups, cold cuts, cheese, savoury items and desserts. Further down the dining hall are stalls set up for roasted meats and teppanyaki. There's also an ice cream cooler and a whole section devoted to Christmas cakes and pastries.
