Do you like salmon? If you do, you are going to enjoy Eastin Hotel Penang's latest dining promotion. Called Eat All You Can Salmon Madness, it offers you a feast of the treasures of the sea.
I love salmon, so this dining promotion is just right for me. I found here salmon in various styles - sashimi, smoked, salted, ... hmm, is it a coincidence that all things salmon start with "s"?
Salmon is of course not the only thing you will find at this dining promotion. I met up once again with the hotel's executive chef, Alex Leong, who explained to me the efforts that went into creating this promotion.
One of the highlights is without a doubt, the Rock Salt Baked Salmon, served with Porcini Cream. The fish was baked to perfection. When the chef peeled off its skin, you could see its juicy pink flesh underneath.
Salmon Madness is served only once a week, every Friday, through September, from 6.30 pm - 10.00 pm. It is priced at RM 88 nett for adults, RM 68 nett for senior citizens and 50% off adult price for children (6 to 12 years old).
