Penang Tourist Centre (2 March 2016)
Penang Tourist Centre (GPS: 5.41923, 100.34446) is a non-governmental organisation established to promote tourism in Penang. Established on 26 November, 1972, and incorporated on 16 March 1982, it is the oldest tourism non-governmental organisation in Penang. Originally known as the Penang Tourist Association, it changed its name to Penang Tourist Centre Berhad in 1992.
The Penang Tourist Centre maintains an outlet at
King Edward Place in
George Town. From this office, you may obtain a variety of brochures and travel literature on Penang. The Penang Tourist Centre also assists in selling ferry tickets to various destinations such as Langkawi.
