Living in Penang, we not only buy, but also homemake various types of pastries. I am fortunate that my wife loves cooking, and I am the happy recipient of her various cooking and baking projects. She is often more interested in cooking than in actually eating what she makes, and as there's only the two of us, there is a limit to how much we could eat. So after we have taken our share, we usually distribute the rest to family members, particularly to her parents and sisters. My wife's elder sister often cooks too, so occasionally we receive food in return.
