Nutmeg Concentrate (14 May 2018)
Nutmeg Concentrate is a drink that is easy to make. You can drink it in many coffee shops in Penang, particularly in Balik Pulau, where nutmeg is still grown in various orchards.
To make nutmeg concentrate, get one kilogram of nutmeg and one kilogram of honey rock sugar. Clean the nutmeg, half it, remove the stalk and seed, and cut it into small triangular pieces. Put it into a slow cooker together with honey rock sugar. Put about 50ml of water to hasten the initial cooking. Cook for 8 hours. 8 hours later, the nutmeg concentrate is ready.
