Setia Alam is a large master-planned township in the City of Shah Alam, Selangor. History
Before the development of Setia Alam, the area consisted largely of oil palm and rubber plantations on the western fringe of Shah Alam. During the late twentieth century, rapid population growth throughout the Klang Valley created demand for new large-scale residential communities beyond the established urban areas of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya and central Shah Alam.2
Recognising this opportunity, SP Setia acquired extensive tracts of land and envisioned a township that would offer more than housing alone. Instead of creating isolated residential estates, the developer planned an integrated community where people could live, work, shop, study and enjoy recreational activities within the same township.1

The nearest KTM Komuter station is Padang Jawa KTM Komuter Station on the Port Klang Line. The station provides rail connections towards Klang, Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur and Tanjung Malim.11
Rapid Bus Services
Rapid KL and Selangor Smart Bus services operate routes connecting Setia Alam with surrounding parts of Shah Alam, Klang and nearby rail stations, enabling commuters to transfer to the wider Klang Valley rail network.11
Future MRT Connection
