Gunung Penrissen is a popular mountain for climbing from Kuching, Sarawak. The 1329-meter mountain is actually located across the border in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Those who are interested to climb it can make the trip in a two or three-day overnight trek. Guides can be hired at Kampung Annah Rais. Another possibility is through Borneo Highlands Resort, which also organises trips to Gunung Penrissen.
