Oshino Hakkai is a picturesque village Yamanishi prefecture in rural Japan. Oshino is renowned for the subterranean spring water of Mount Fuji, and this water is used to brew beer and make the delicious Oshino buckwheat noodles.
When I visited Oshino Hakkai, it has just started to snow in Oshino (although it was already April at that time). The snow gave the village a most pleasant appearance.
