Nagakute (Japanese: 長久手市) is a city in
Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It covers 21.54 sq km (8.2 sq mi) and has a population of 53,000 people (2012 estimate). It attained town status in 1971 and city status on 4 January, 2012.
