Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul is all geared up to usher in the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadhan. This year, the hotel once again stages a traditional Malay spread for the breaking of the daily fast carrying the theme Tok Wan 101 Recipes. To be held from 16 May until 13 June, 2018, the buffet is priced at RM70 nett per adult and RM30 nett per child aged 4-12.

Tok Wan 101 Recipes Food Review
My wife and I joined our friends from the local blogging community to preview Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul's Ramadhan feast on Monday, 7 May, 2018. As with the past year, the feast was held at the grand ballroom. The foyer of the ballroom was all decked out with rows of food, occupying the sides as well as the central portion of the hall. In addition, grilled and roasted items were prepared in the outdoor area. Various food stations were set up, including one for laksa, another for ais kacang, another for chicken rice, and many more,
Among the outstanding dishes that I came across at Tok Wan 101 Recipes Ramadhan Feast included kambing panggang, daging rendang and murtabak. The huge parade of food also included various types of kerabu, keropok, a make-your-own rojak stall, a pasembur/gado-gado corner, five different types of sweet broth including gandum and pengat pisang, an ulam corner, various salted fish and eggs, and lots more. Oh yes, you should have seen the amount of kuih, in all the colours of the rainbow, they were all here at the Ramadhan food preview. Rather than trying to explain what I discovered, let me show you in pictures.
