Olive Tree Hotel 2019 Lunar New Year Promotion (8 January 2019)


Now that Chinese New Year is just a few more weeks away, Olive Tree Hotel in Bayan Baru, Penang, has prepared a selection of dining options for the festivity. There will be a Festive Buffet Dinner on 26 Jan, 2, 9 and 16 Feb, 2019, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, priced at RM108+ adult and RM49+ child. There is a Buy 3 Free 1 offer on the adult fare.

The hotel also offers a Lunar New Year Set Menu. This is held in one of the private function halls from 7 Jan to 28 Feb, during lunch and dinner, and at the Grand Ballroom on 4 Feb from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. It is priced at RM939+ per table, for minimum booking of 2 tables or surcharge applies. Surcharge of 10% applies during the 4-6 Feb period. Special traditional performances included on 4 Feb 2019 at the Grand Ballroom.

There will be a Lunar New Year 1st & 2nd Day Buffet Lunch at the hotel happening on 5 & 6 Feb, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. It is priced at RM128+ adult and RM68+ child/senior. Early bird discount of 20% off is available for full payment by 27 Jan 2019.

Finally, the hotel is offering the Olive Tree Salmon Yee Sang for RM108+ per set, available from 7 Jan to 28 Feb, 2019.

Last night, 8 January, 2019, my wife and I were honoured to get to try out the food prepared by Olive Tree Hotel for its upcoming Chinese New Year dining promotion. We joined members of the local blogging community as well as corporate guests. The evening began with the tossing of the Yee Sang. Then we all dug in to the gorgeous spread.
