Ixora Handy Smartphone (15 July 2017)
Ixora Hotel scores a first among hotels in the country by placing a free-to-use smartphone in every guest room. Guests of the hotel can take it out of the hotel, and use it to make unlimited local calls as well as unlimited calls to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. The phone comes with its own mobile data, so you can use it to check Google Maps, or Waze, or use it to call Grab or Uber. The phone has three language functions - English, Chinese and Malay. Guests do not have to worry about having their personal data in the phone, as the memory will be erased when they check out.
