Guestrooms & Suites at Areca Hotel Penang

During our recent visit to Areca Hotel Penang, my wife and I were privileged to stay in their well appointed Heritage Room. We are also taken on a room tour of the hotel. At time of writing (Nov 2017), Areca Hotel has three types of rooms, namely the Garden Room, Heritage Room and Family Suite. I went on a room tour to view each of these rooms, so that I can get the photos to show you to. If you are planning a visit to Penang, Areca Hotel is conveniently located in downtown George Town, within walking distance from many sights and street food destinations.

Garden Room

The Garden Room is the basic room at Areca Hotel Penang. It measures 18 square meters. It has a queen-size bed and is cosily furnished.

Heritage Room

The Heritage Room measures 40 square meters. Located on the ground floor, it has one queen-size bed with side decks, and period furnishing throughout.

Family Suite

The Family Suite has two queen-size beds and measures 48 square meters. It is spacious with period furnishing throughout.
