Herriot Street, George Town, at junction with McNair Street (2 December 2008)

Lebuh Herriot (Penang Hokkien: Pek3-Tiau3 Lor33 ), originally called Herriot Street, is one of the parallel streets after the Prangin Canal. It links McNair Street with Jalan Gurdwara (Brick Kiln Road), between Nanking Road and Sandilands Street.

Herriot Street was named after 19th century British merchant Stuart Herriot, who wrote on behalf of Kapitan China Chung Keng Kwee a petition to the British to intervene in the warfare that erupted in the tin mines of Larut. The intervention led to the creation of Taiping and Kamunting.
