Jalan Bell , formerly Bell Road, is a minor road in the posh residential neighbourhood of Ayer Rajah. It links Cantonment Road to Codrington Avenue. The leafy road is lined with grand bungalows and mansions. There are three off-shoots to Bell Road namely Bell Lane (Lorong Bell), Bell Gate (Gerbang Bell) and Bell Close (Solok Bell).

Bell Road and its subsidiary roads was named after early 20th century Municipal Engineer of George Town, Leonard Moore Bell.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Macalister Road. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 10, 304 and 306. Walking distance from bus stop is around 5-10 minutes.
