Malacca Street, George Town
Malacca Street or Lebuh Melaka is one of the streets in the outer part of George Town. It was built at the turn of the 20th century, as the city of George Town began to expand beyond its early borders marked by Prangin Road and Penang Road. Malacca Street is mostly residential for the first half of its existence, and is still primarily residential.
Getting there
A number of buses pass through Dato Kramat road in front of Malacca Street. You can take Rapid Penang Bus Nos. 11, 201, 202, 203, U204, 206, 301 and 302 to get there.
