Dinner at Woodlands Vegetarian Restaurant

Tim's Taste Test

2 May, 2014: My wife and I returned to Woodlands after a lapse of a couple of months. On this visit, we ordered the Mysore Masala Dosai, Mix Vegetable Uthappam, the Onion Kulcha and the Pudina Paratha. As a dip, we ordered the Panner Butter Masala, which are cubes of Indian cheese cooked with rich butter gravy. It was a big meal, yet the bill came up to only RM22.60!

Of the items we ordered, we enjoyed the first one the most, the Mysore Masala Dosai. It has a wonderful aroma of toasted bread. The skin is crispy yet not soggy from the potato filling. The other items are only so so. We do like the panner butter masala. It has chunks of Indian cheese which taste a lot like beancurd. It was on the whole a good meal, and we look forward to returning to Woodlands to try other items in their menu.
