Thái Binh is a small city in the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam. Located some 110 km from Hanoi, it covers 67.7 sq km and has a population of 235,000 people (2011 estimate). It gained city status in June, 2004.
Thái Binh is the provincial capital of its eponymous province. The city is home to the Thai Binh Medical College, regarded as one of the best medical colleges in Vietnam.
