War Remnants Museum is housed in the former US Information Service building. Formerly known as the War Crimes Museum, it displays films and photographs documenting the atrocities committed by the American, Chinese and French soldiers. This thought-provoking museum offers a Vietnamese perspective to events during the war which often never reach an international audience.

Perhaps the most disturbing exhibit are the formaldehyde-filled jars containing foetuses that were deformed due to the chemical defoliants used during the Vietnam War. Also shown is a video of how victims were thrown from the helicopter by the aggressors.
