Ho Coc Beach is a pristine stretch of beach located 190 km (118 mi) to the east of Ho Chi Minh City. As it cannot be reached by public transport, it is still largely undeveloped. There are no big restaurants like those you could find in Vung Tau. However, this is more than compensated by the scenic view and clean white sand.

Ho Coc Beach is visited mostly by the locals during weekends. It just have a few basic eateries, and no proper place for accommodation.

Right next to Ho Coc Beach is the Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve. This place is a protected area where you can find several species of monkeys and birds. You can hire a guide here to take you on a walking four of the reserve.
