Buu Dien, the General Post Office (30 August 2006)
Buu Dien is the General Post Office of Hanoi. It is housed in a lovely French colonial building in Hanoi, Vietnam. The General Post Office consists of the international post office, facing Indira Gandhi Park, and the domestic post office, facing Ho Hoan Kiem.
Visitors to Hanoi walking along the banks of the Ho Hoan Kiem will pass by the Buu Dien on the west side of the lake.
Getting there
Buu Dien is located Dinh Tien Hoang Street, on the east side of the Lake of the Returned Sword. You can see it immediately after you pass Indira Gandhi Park.
