Umi Japanese Restaurant at Lexis Suites Penang now has a Japanese buffet lunch every Sunday from 12:00noon to 2:30pm. It is priced at RM110 nett (adult), RM80 nett (senior citizen) and RM60 nett (child).

My wife and I had the opportunity of trying out the buffet the other day. We were warmly received by Chef Lim Guan, who introduced us to the various items and making us feel so at home at his restaurant. I like it that the sashimi is kept in storage and taken out to be sliced upon order. That way, the meat maintains its freshness.
