Tzu Chi Recycling Education Centre (5 July 2017)


Tzu Chi Recycling Education Centre (GPS: 5.33303, 100.3023) is a recycling centre in Taman Sri Nibong. It occupies the site that was formerly the Medan Selera Taman Sri Nibong, and is run by Tzu Chi, a Buddhist social welfare organisation.

As part of the effort, recycling bins are set up for the residents to put away items that they do not need anymore. Volunteers are on hand to segregate the items, and salvage those that can be recycled. Books that are still usable are rescued and donated to libraries that may appreciate having them.
