Tang Hoon Thng is a soup dish of glass noodles. It is a Hock Chew street food. It isn't very common, but I discovered a stall selling it at Super Tanker Food Court in Lip Sin Garden, Sungai Dua. I ordered the big bowl, which was RM4.80 (May 2018 price).
The Tang Hoon Thng comes with different type of meatballs. There was pork meatball, Sai To fishball and eu char koay (Chinese dough stick). They provide a wonderful combination of tastes. Each type of meatball has a different texture. The Sai To fishball is soft and springy while the pork meatball is harder. I enjoyed this meal very much. Although I do not visit Super Tanker Food Court often, now I have something different to eat there, the next time I visit the food court.
I learned that the stall operates every day except Friday, from 7:00am to 11:00pm. In addition to the soup version, there is also the dry version, though I haven't tried that one. I think I will stick to the soupy version.
