Prai Railway Station, not to be confused with the
Butterworth Railway Station, was a former train station in Penang. It is located near the mouth of the Prai River. Until the construction and opening of the Butterworth Railway Station in 1967, rail passengers heading for Penang Island would disembark at the Prai Railway Station, then take the railway ferry across the channel, to arrive at the George Town Railway Pier on Penang Island.
Today the site of the Prai Railway Station is little more than a railway yard between Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Perai and the Prai River. A railway track continues from the yard to the
Malayan Sugar Manufacturing Company. All traces of the Prai Railway Station has been obliterated, as the area has been transformed into a depot for containers.

The nearest I could get to the site that was once the Prai Railway Station.
