Playing with Marbles is one of the newest dioramas to be installed at the Made In Penang Interactive Museum. It depicts a kampung scene where a group of boys and men are engaged in a game of marbles. Although the figures are already in miniature, the marbles are even more minute. Yet if you scrunitize the diorama closely, you will see them on the ground. It must have required painstaking effort to create them so small.

The Playing with Marbles diorama celebrates a time past when children played with marbles rather than with computer games. Many adults would recall playing with marbles when they were small, though marble games have largely fallen out of fashion nowadays.

In most games involving marbles, the objective is to knock an opponents' marbles out of a group or row.
