Pacific West Get-Together Dinner (9 June 2018)

Pacific West Get-Together Dinner held a get-together with local members of the social media on 9 June 2018 at More By Arang Coffee, Penang. This was carried out in conjunction with this Ramadhan season. More by Arang Coffee has just launched their Ramadhan menu, and so we were treated to a selection of what they were offering.

Pacific West Tempura Prawns and Crumbed Fish Fingers (9 June 2018)

Among the items prepared by More by Arang Coffee included Crumb Fish Fingers, Tempura Natural Calamari Rings, Popcorn Fish and Tempura Prawns. These are taken as finger food with their homemade dipping sauce. The restaurant also presented, as the main course for the evening, their Charcoal Croissant Burger with Cheezy Fish Fillet and Dusted Baby Squids & Torpedo Prawns with Green Curry Pasta. The portion was huge, especially when we were actually eating two main course items.

The Get-Together Dinner provided us an understanding of Pacific West's tagline "The taste the world loves"! From this evening, I learned that Pacific West dates back to 1995. Its products have been sold in many countries in the world, and has also be used during major events including the Sydney Olympic Games, Wimbledon Tennis Tournaments, Manchester United Football Club, and World Rugby, among others.

Today, Pacific West's products are available in over 20 countries and most recently, at Disneyland in Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Pacific West brand won the Best Innovative Seafood Product in Asia Halal Brand Awards 2017, an award judged by representatives from JAKIM, HDC, MITTI, MATRADE and ENTREPRENEUR INSIGHT.

In conjunction with FIFA World Cup 2018, Pacific West launched its "FOODball Fever" campaign, which runs from 16th April to 15th July 2018. The campaign carries a grand prize worth RM10,000 for the winner to visit any of his favourite football country. In addition, there are 100 consolation prizes.
