Or Nee (芋泥) is a Teochew dessert made of taro (often mistaken as yam). This creamy dessert is often taken after a meal. On this page, I share the recipe for making Or Nee. You can serve it as it is, which is how we often do, or you can add a topping of ginkgo.

Ingredients:
Taro - skinned, sliced, steamed and mashed
Sugar
Oil
Method:
Heat a wok over medium fire, add in mashed yam, sugar and oil.
