Marpha is a small village along the Kali Gandaki River, in the Annapurna Conservation Area in central Nepal. It has a population of 1630 people living in 434 households. The name Marpha means "place of hardworking people". The village clings tenaciously to the barren landscape and is surprisingly bountiful. It is regarded as the chief apple-growing center of Nepal.

Located between Jomsom and Beni, Marpha is on the route of hikers negotiating the Jomsom trek. It is a place to stop for a meal and rest while enjoying the rustic feel of a Nepali village.

Most of the people in Marpha are farmers. In addition to apples, they grow corn, buckwheat, lentils and wheat.

Marpha is about 45 minutes downriver from Jomsom.
