Nando's has an outlet in Gurney Plaza, Penang. The chain restaurant offering Afro-Portuguese grilled chicken is located on the ground floor of the annex. It opens daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm on Mondays to Fridays, with extended hours to 10:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

My wife and I joined a group of food blogger for the launch for Nando's newest flavor, the "Mango & Lime". Although this flavour has been around at Nando's restaurants in other countries, the company finally decided to introduce it across all its Malaysian outlets on 19 January, 2017. This is the first time Nando's has added a new flavour in Malaysia after operating here for 19 years. This new flavor has a spiciness intensity between the "Mild" and "Lemon & Herb" flavours.

We were first served with the Mango & Lime chicken wings. The beverage for the evening was another Nando's new launch, the Tropical Fruitea.

To prepare the new Mango & Lime Chicken, the chicken is grilled with Nando's PERi-PERi Sauce, and then has a second layer of Mango & Lime sauce applied to it. The result is a sweetish tasting outer skin, with some parts spicy where the amount of PERi-PERi Sauce is thicker. I like the taste, though, I have to say that I can hardly detect anything mango about it.

To end our meal, we were served the PERi-PERi Brownies and Caramel Cheesecake. Both are very sweet and since I love things sweet, I love them!
