A butte rising out of the landscape at Penang's miniature Grand Canyon (22 August 2015)
Penang's Miniature Grand Canyon (GPS: 5.40694, 100.50075) is a place in Bukit Langkap, Berapit. The fissures in the wasteland have created a terrain similar to what you would see at the Grand Canyon. My wife and I came across the landscape when we were on our way to Suling Hill. Although all is in miniature, you can see here a canyon with a river having carved into it, with buttes rising abruptly.
