Sungai Jarak (1 August, 2015)
Sungai Jarak is a river that flows from Kedah to Penang. It joins Sungai Air Itam before emptying into the Prai River at the Air Hitam Dalam Educational Forest.
At Taman Cempedak, there is a recreational park beside Sungai Jarak. At this point, the river is installed with gates which regulate its flow. These gates can be brought down, where need arise, to check the flow of the river.
