Shah Alam Royale Theatre (GPS: 3.07473, 101.52333) is an auditorium and performing arts centre in Shah Alam, Selangor. Located at Jalan Persidangan, it was built at a cost of RM43 million, and was completed in July 2008. The six-storey building was designed as a modern interpretation of the Malay-Bugis architectural style. The building is managed by the Shah Alam City Council.
In 2013, The Star reported that even though the Shah Alam Royale Theatre was completed five years ago, it has not opened to the public. According to
The Star, when the Pakatan government took power in Selangor in 2008, it declared that the building could not be used as the contractor had not complied with some of the building specifications, and that the Shah Alam City Council was ordered to continue managing the theatre.
