Weston (GPS: 5.21688, 115.5988) is a small town in the Interior Division on the southwestern part of
Sabah. It is located between
Beaufort and
Sipitang. The
Pan Borneo Highway passes through it.
Perhaps the only attraction of Weston is the Weston Wetlands. To get there, you take a boat from the old village jetty. Weston Wetland Retreat has a lodge with dormitory-style accommodation and common bathrooms. River cruises are available where you can view the wildlife including proboscis monkeys, macaques and flying foxes.
Getting there
Weston is about two hours' drive from Kota Kinabalu, and just 20 minutes from Beaufort. Transport arrangement can be made with the operator.
