Monumen Alaf Baru (GPS: 2.92351, 101.68264), formerly known as the Millennium Monument, is a monument in Putrajaya, the first to be built there. Located at Lebuh Ensan, it is a 68 metres tall column, and shaped as the hibiscus flower. The face of the column is adorned with geometric design. Monumen Alaf Baru is located on a 25 hectare site in Precinct 2, and was constructed of solid metal.
The podium of the monument has railings with frosted glass frames depicting the history of the nation from prehistoric times to the turn of the millennium. At night, there is a beacon at the top of the monument that is visible thorughout Putrajaya.
