Torana Gate of Little India (GPS: 3.13012, 101.68404) is a monument in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. Located on a traffic island along Jalan Rakyat, it is a symbol of the Little India in Brickfields. The Torana gateway is an ornate structure that is often associated with Hindu, Buddhist and Jain architecture in India. Related to the torii of Japan, toranas are found in numerous places in Western and Southern India. The most famous is probably the Torana at Sanchi stupa in Madhya Pradesh, India.
