Jalan Rakyat is a major road in the urban portion of Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. It connects Jalan Tun Sambanthan in the south with the junction of Jalan Travers and Jalan Bangsar in the north.

Jalan Rakyat was only named in January 20151. Before that, it was also part of Jalan Travers. The name was proposed by Bank Rakyat, which has its headquarters on the road. The name change was received negatively by Brickfields community leaders with many expressing surprise that the move was carried out without consultation with the community.2
