Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur (Feb 2024)
Jalan Bangsar is a major road in
Kuala Lumpur. It connect
Jalan Travers to the
New Pantai Expressway. The road forms the southwestern border of the
Bangsar neighbourhood. The Malayan Railway track runs parallel to the road for much of the way, while above the road is the elevated tracks of the light rail transit.
As with the Bangsar neighbourhood, Jalan Bangsar got its name as a derivation of the name of the Bungsar Estate, which itself was derived from Bunge-Grisar, the name of the two founding members of the estate, Edouard Bunge and Alfred Grisar.
