Tanjung Malai, Langkawi (6 June, 2005)
Tanjung Malai (GPS: 6.26326, 99.7324) is the southwestern tip of Pulau Langkawi. Located at Tanjung Malai is Resorts World Langkawi, a resort with a decidedly Mediterranean style architecture. The Star Cruise Jetty is located near the resort. It provides regular ferry services between Langkawi, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis.
From Tanjung Malai, one can get views of the off shore islands. Boat services are also available for excursions to places such as Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Beras Basah and Pulau Singa Besar.
