Pulau Pasir off Tanjung Rhu is one of the two islands in Langkawi with this name. The other Pulau Pasir is located off Pulau Tuba.
Pulau Pasir is visible from the beach of Tanjung Rhu - if you can make out which one it is among the cluster of islands and rocky outcrops. It is uninhabited and undeveloped. The name Pulau Pasir means Sand Island.
