Kampung Belanga Pecah (GPS: 6.38832, 99.86221) is a village in Langkawi. It is located on the eastern part of the island, along Jalan Ayer Hangat, near Galeria Perdana and Barn Thai Restaurant.
The name Belanga Pecah means "broken pot". It is related to the tale of the big fight that broke out in the wedding feast for the daughter of Gunung Machincang and the son of Gunung Raya. In the ensuring row, pots broke, gravy was spilled and hot water splashed, creating places around the island that we know of today.
