Sungai Bentayan, Muar (11 September, 2016)
Sungai Bentayan is a small river that flows through the town of Muar, Johor. It is a tributary to Sungai Muar. The river gives its name to the village of Bentayan, which is today a neighbourhood of downtown Muar. Much of the river is today canalised, with its final stretch beyond Jalan Maharani obscured by Medan Selera Bentayan, a hawker centre.
