Timothy Tye with Low Chee PengTimothy Tye with Low Chee Peng (5 September 2016)

Have you ever wondered who is the person who sculptured the various street art in Penang? In George Town, we see steel-rod sculptures based on the drawings by Baba Chuah, Lefty, Reggie Lee and Tang Mun Kian, but the person who turned the drawings into sculptures is Low Chee Peng. I had the opportunity of meeting Mr Low at an art gallery recently. It was Low who interpreted the various cartoon drawings and turn them into sculptures. In addition, he is the person who sculptured the Coastal Runners.
