Kedai Kopi Kwang Yuen (GPS: 5.42973, 100.39741) is a coffee shop off Jalan Bagan Lallang in Taman Mesra, Butterworth. I stopped by here with my wife to have our lunch. we ordered two plates of chicken rice and a plate of mee rebus.

Though not particularly spectacular, I found the chicken rice to be quite inexpensive compared to the prices on Penang Island. If I am not mistaken, it was just about RM3.50 per plate. Not only that, the portion was quite big. The taste of the mee goreng was also a bit bland - I am now thinking that food on Penang Island must be quite salty in comparison.
