Kampung Pengkalan (GPS: 5.16424, 100.47681) is the name of the inner quarters of Nibong Tebal. Its name means "port village", and refers to the landing to the town on Sungai Kerian. The Kampung Pengkalan area is filled with shophouses, owned mostly by the Chinese community of the town.
