Noshiro 能代市, Akita Prefecture

Noshiro (Japanese: 能代市) is a city on the northwestern part of Akita Prefecture, in the Tohoku Region in northern Japan. It covers 426 sq km (165 sq mi) and has a population of 58,000 people (2012 estimate).
