Tirta Gangga is a village in East Bali, with the best surviving royal water palace on the island. The name of the village, incidentally, means "holy waters of the
Ganges". The royal water palace was built by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut, the last king of Karangasem, one of the kingdoms in eastern Bali and today a regency (kabupaten) of Bali. The eruption of Gunung Agung damaged Tirta Gangga in 1963, but it was subsequently repaired.

The royal water palace has a sacred spring. It feeds into a pool and a few more ponds. Bathing is allowed in the pools. There are basic changing rooms available. The surroundings are a well kept garden.
