Pejaten is a village near Pura Tanah Lot in Bali. It has a thriving cottage industry in making things out of clay and earth, such as earthenware, pots and terracotta roof tiles. If you are looking for things made of clay, this is a good place to browse and shop, as the prices here are much lower (expect to bargain) than in major centers such as Denpasar or Kuta.
