Campuhan is a village to the west of Ubud. The name means "confluence" and refers to the meeting point of two rivers. It was where the artist Walter Spies - credited for his influence in exposing Balinese culture to the west - built his house. It today houses the Tjampuhan Hotel and Spa.
At Campuhan is the spring temple of Pura Gunung Lebah which was established in the 8th century.
