Kedai Kopi Hwa Lam is famous for its unusual lor mee stall. I like it very much, though my wife and I, we often forgot about it whenever we were considering where to go for dinner. Nevertheless on this evening, our minds were set on having the lor mee.
We arrived and managed to find a table by the side of the coffee shop. It is within an alleyway, and is much cooler there. In addition to the lor mee, we also ordered the Singapore-style bee hoon and the sar hor fun. As usual, we liked the lor mee best, but the other items are not too bad either, though perhaps just a little better than average.
